    • Connected a scan tool and found code P0441 – Evaporative Emission System Incorrect Purge Flow. Performed an inspection of the evaporative emission (EVAP) system and detected no obvious faults. Using a multi-meter, attempted to seal the EVAP system and found the EVAP purge solenoid valve did not respond. Inspected the EVAP purge solenoid valve wiring harness and connector and detected no obvious faults. With the ignition on and the engine off, used the multi-meter to check for the presence of voltage and ground at the EVAP purge solenoid valve connector and found both were present. Using the multi-meter, checked for continuity of the EVAP purge solenoid valve and found continuity was not present, indicating the EVAP purge solenoid valve was faulty.
